We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee our core accounting operations and lead a small offshore team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of key accounting functions, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and the month-end close process. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, detail-oriented environment and enjoys both managing people and driving operational excellence across global teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting is required
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across global teams

Nice To Haves

  • CPA or path to CPA is a plus
  • Experience with NetSuite is a plus
  • Prior experience managing or mentoring a team (including offshore teams is a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a small accounting team, providing guidance, coaching, and oversight
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Own and manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting outputs
  • Prepare and organize audit deliverables and support external audit processes
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and accounting standards
  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and other stakeholders
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability
  • Support communication and coordination across time zones with offshore team members
