About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations and month-end close processes for a portfolio of 20 properties. This role manages multi-entity accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, cash management, compliance, and supervises one accounting team member. The Accounting Manager partners with senior leadership to provide financial analysis and support strategic decision-making.

Requirements

• 10+ years progressive accounting experience (multi-entity preferred)
• 10+ years General Ledger experience
• 5+ years supervisory experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred (experience may substitute)
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• ERP/Accounting software experience

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end close, including journal entries and general ledger imports
• Analyze and reconcile multi-entity financial data across 20 properties
• Review and balance reports; ensuring accuracy
• Prepare and file sales tax returns
• Reconcile payroll, benefits, escrow, and bank accounts
• Serve as administrator for Bank of America CashPro
• Maintain compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
• Supervise and mentor one bookkeeper
• Support audits, licensing filings, and regulatory reporting
