About The Position

Our versed Accounting Manager will manage all aspects of accounting, finance and payroll. This role will supervise accounting personnel, handle daily transactions, prepare reports, and develop standards and processes for proper financial management to meet company financial objectives. Essential Functions Establishes internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation. Enforces proper accounting methods, policies and principles Collaborate with management on company’s financial strategy. Manage the company’s financial accounts, payroll, budget, cash receipts and financial assets. Manage the company’s transactions and debts as well as cash flow forecasting. Plan, coordinate, and perform the company’s financial audits. Monitor and analyze financial and accounting data to reach financial objectives. Create financial reports based on data analysis as well as forecasting. Manages the accounting staff who are responsible for financial reporting, receivables, payables, payroll, and budget preparation. High level of involvement and problem solving, in managing all aspects of accounting, financial, and payroll expectations. Ability to encourage associates to perform to their fullest capabilities through team building. Possess exemplary work ethic and maintain good attendance (regular and punctual attendance is an essential function of this position). Be able to perform multiple tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously while performing various other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Accounting, Finance or related, ,
  • 5+ years’ experience in the accounting management capacity
  • 5+ years as a supervisor, manager or other leadership role
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, standards and regulations
  • Experience with accounting software and databases (i.e. QuickBooks)
  • Superior management and supervisory skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds and times

Nice To Haves

  • Previous ERP experience preferred (Global Shop ideally)
