About The Position

We are seeking our new Accounting Manager to join the Axway team! The Manager is responsible for team and 3rd party coordination resulting in effective and timely completion of accounting activities, monthly close, financial statement reporting and audit requirements.

Requirements

BS in accounting, finance (CPA preferred)
7+ years previous accounting experience
Effective communication skills with ability to influence across the organization
Software industry knowledge
Experience with general ledger accounting packages – Workday preferable
Physical presence required in the office on a hybrid schedule two days per week minimum

Responsibilities

Manage full cycle accounting process for multiple entities, including monthly close, quarter and half year consolidated reporting and external auditor reviews.
Ownership for Australian financial statements and coordination with other APAC locations.
Assist in M&A activities including integration of processes and accounting.
Support the business teams in financial matters and inquiries and analytics.
Research and resolve issues as identified.
Perform account variance analysis.
Coordinate with outside tax, insurance and accounting advisors in the Asia Pacific Region.
Serve as a backup to other team members on an as-needed basis.
Assist with year-end audit preparation and responses to auditors.
Participate in ad-hoc projects as assigned to team.
