About The Position

Roessel Joy is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our team. This individual will support the financial operations of a multi-entity organization, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, strong internal processes, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This is a hands-on role with visibility into multiple areas of the business, including accounting, billing, and financial operations. The Accounting Manager will partner cross-functionally with sales and operations teams and will have the opportunity to contribute to process improvements and financial insights as the organization continues to grow. About You: The ideal candidate has a strong accounting foundation and experience working with multiple entities or complex business structures. You are comfortable owning core accounting processes while also supporting broader financial operations such as billing, cash flow visibility, and reporting. Strong communication skills are key, as this role partners closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • 3-6 years of accounting experience
  • Experience with multi-entity environments and intercompany transactions
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Experience with processing payroll and managing benefits
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with multiple entities and/or intercompany transactions preferred
  • CPA or CMA is a plus
  • Must be located in the Greater Boston area (hybrid schedule)
  • Experience working in the staffing and/or consulting industries is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records across multiple entities
  • Prepare and review monthly financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow)
  • Support and manage the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Preparation for consolidated financial reporting
  • Partner with sales and operations to ensure accurate and timely customer invoicing
  • Monitor accounts receivable and assist with collections and issue resolution
  • Support cash flow tracking
  • Review payroll outputs to ensure accuracy of wages, deductions, and allocations across entities
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements
  • Work within and help improve financial systems and processes
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance reporting accuracy
  • Manage coordination with external accountants for tax filings and financial statement reviews
  • Support documentation and implementation of accounting policies as needed
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions
