The JOB The Accounting Manager is responsible for supervising the day-to-day accounting activities-including general ledger management, financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable-and contributing analytical support to improve financial performance. This position ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting while delivering insights that help guide operational decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred; or a combination of education and work experience0
  • 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience; hospitality experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in payroll, income audit, accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, forecasting, general cashiering, and financial reporting.
  • Experience in managing month-end cycle through balance sheet reconciliations and financial statement preparation/analysis.
  • Excellent administrative, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and operate with a high degree of accuracy, initiative, and integrity.
  • Ability to work independently as well as cohesively with a team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily accounting functions, including AP, AR, payroll support, and general ledger oversight.
  • Lead month-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
  • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to GAAP and company policies.
  • Maintain internal controls, audit readiness, and organized financial documentation.
  • Oversee cash flow monitoring, bank reconciliations, and vendor management.
  • Support department leaders with financial questions and coding accuracy.
  • Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and variance analyses.
  • Assist with annual budgeting and monthly forecasting updates.
  • Analyze trends, cost drivers, and departmental performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide actionable insights to leadership to support revenue growth and cost-control initiatives.
  • Support ownership and corporate reporting requirements.
