Where You Will Work: Our corporate office is located in the Denver Tech Center. Our office spans the top two floors of the building and features expansive views of the mountains and the downtown skyline. AIR values relationships and the benefits from working side by side with teammates, therefore this position will be in-office 5 days a week to support the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5-7 years related experience.
  • Experience supervising associate-level employees required.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience working with financial systems such as Workday and/or Blackline.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the debt team responsible for daily debt transactions including mortgage payments, DLCs, payoffs, etc.
  • Responsible for month/quarter end reconciliation reviews and approval of journal entries.
  • Complete and review monthly, quarterly, and yearly variance analysis of debt and interest accounts.
  • Strategize and work closely with the team to ensure month/quarter end deadlines are hit.
  • Identify process inefficiencies within the current flow and work with other team members to drive process change.
  • Collaborating among departments to share accounting data and improve efficiencies.
  • Acts as Team Leader including mentoring new hires, leading projects, and resolving issues.
  • Participates in special projects that impact policies and procedures.
