Employees | Value | Execution | Relationships JOB SUMMARY Assist with various duties including but not limited to, payroll, job costing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma/GED is required. Must be currently pursuing a 4-year degree in accounting. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Previous experience in an accounting role is preferred. KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES Must be able to prioritize and complete tasks on schedule. Must be highly organized, detail oriented, and have excellent interpersonal skills. Strong written and oral communication skills are essential. Must have a positive attitude, be a self-starter, and contribute to a team-oriented environment. Must be able maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion. Must exercise initiative, judgment, and confidence as well as exhibit a strong desire to acquire knowledge of company practices, policies and procedures. Knowledge and skills in the use of various Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Assist with preparing entries and related work papers. Assist with accounting close processes. Assist with daily reviews of accounts payable entries. Assist with entering and verifying purchase orders Assist with comparing vendor/subcontractor invoices to purchase orders or contracts Assist in preparing and reviewing documents and processes in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements. Assist with internal and external audits. Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS 401(k) with employer match (fully vested on day 1)! Requirements
