BAE SYSTEMS PROPRIETARY © BAE Systems In this position, you will be supporting the Ordnance Systems Business at our Kingsport, TN facility. This position will be onsite at our Kingsport facility. Relocation will not be offered, and housing is not provided. This is a part-time Accounting Internship with the possibility of continuing through the year. As an Accounting / Finance intern, you will: Support the Accounting team in everyday Accounting and Compliance processes Report to the Assistant Controller and will work directly with various leaders and specialists. Have an interest in developing professional skills in Accounting, Finance and Government Compliance in a manufacturing environment in the Defense industry
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in an Accounting, Finance or related field
- Must be able to work a minimum of 16 hrs per week if internship is continued throgh the school
- Solid computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to multi-task and work efficiently under deadlines
