DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations is currently looking for an Accounting Intern to join their team in Pineville, Louisiana. This position will work closely with our Business Unit Controller and the entire Accounting and Finance Team. Launch your career in accounting with hands-on experience that goes beyond the classroom. Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with month end close and preparation of financial statements
• Help reconcile bank accounts
• Perform general accounting functions as needed (accounts payable, accounts receivable, etc.)
• Assist with any audits
