About The Position

Swiderski Equipment, one of Wisconsin’s premier and long-established agriculture and construction equipment dealerships, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-driven individual who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced accounting environment. This position works primarily in an office setting and requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. We value a positive attitude, dedication to teamwork, and a strong work ethic.

Requirements

  • A background in agriculture is helpful, though not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the accounting team with Accounts Payable tasks, including collecting and organizing invoices, reconciling statements, identifying and applying eligible discounts, and accurately recording financial transactions.
  • Process and pay accounts payable in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and manage various daily and/or monthly reports as requested by management and accounting team members.
  • Disperse reports and information to appropriate personnel regularly.
  • Verify accuracy of documents and reports to ensure spreadsheets are properly maintained.
  • Recommend action to resolve discrepancies or questionable data.
  • Manage and utilize business systems to full capabilities in storing and reporting financial information.
  • Maintain appropriate system for filing and managing paperwork.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, neat and orderly work environment.
  • Work within and promote the vision, mission, and values of SEI.
  • Other duties, as assigned.
