At The Kinetic Group, our accounting team plays a vital role in advancing our mission to deliver high-quality, reliable ammunition to customers worldwide, offering you a unique chance to make a real impact in an industry fueled by precision and passion. The Accounting Analyst will be responsible for supporting the objectives of the accounting and finance organization at The Kinetic Group. This will be a unique opportunity for someone looking to gain experience within an industry accounting team. They will have an opportunity to add significant value to the accounting organization as they take on accounting roles and responsibilities and are empowered to recommend improvements and automations to streamline accounting processes This based out of our Anoka office and will have a hybrid work schedule, with three days per week in office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting with 0-3 years of experience.
  • Attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of Generally Applied Accounting Principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products.
  • Comfortable working with individuals throughout an organization including all levels of management.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with IFRS principles a plus.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Experience preferred in Microsoft AX or other ERP, Alteryx and OneStream

Responsibilities

  • Perform accounting analysis on various transactions and maintain a high level of accuracy in a timely manner.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Ad HOC special projects and analysis to support the overall business.
  • Provide Internal and External Audit Support.
  • Analyze data for audit requests.
  • Contribute to Month-end close Process
  • Determine need for journal entries & additional month-end close procedures
  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations to a high level of accuracy
  • Assist with accounting for capital projects and fixed assets including tracking actual spend to the budgeted amounts
  • Perform other duties as requested
