The UHS Corporate Accounting Department is hiring an Accounting Coordinator to provide Senior VP - Controller, Accounting Directors and Accounting staff.

Requirements

• Associates degree preferred with 1 -3 years' experience in an accounting support role.
• Microsoft Office proficient
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Detail oriented

Responsibilities

• Post journal entries in Allscripts application within monthly time constraints
• Prepare daily cash deposit with monthly reconciliation and journal entry
• Prepare daily Revenue and Census report, distribute and prepare quarterly operating statistics
• Input various AP invoices into the Allscripts application.
• Review EE expense reports and prepare daily electronic funding approval forms
• Prepare allocation spreadsheets for inter-company journal entries
• Serve as back-up contact for participant support in connection with employee equity compensation application (Shareworks) and back-up for filing SEC Form 4s
• Assist with UHS/UHT annual meeting preparation
• Other combined duties, including preparation of various financial spreadsheets, ordering of supplies, coordination of off-site storage, preparation of Audit committee minutes, conference room booking, and Universal Health Realty Income Trust tax return mailings and Securities and Exchange Commission documentation filing.
• SEC rep letter for 8-K, UHT tax returns.
• UHS facilities count 10-k property exhibit.
