About The Position

Description I. Job Summary Develops and maintains basic financial information for specific areas of the general ledger and financial statements. II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepares and completes basic journal entries by the closing date on a monthly basis. Prepares and inputs into the general ledger accounting system. Reconciles, analyzes and adjusts general ledger accounts as necessary. Maintains accurate detail in support of the general ledger account balances. Prepares monthly capital tracking report by monthly deadline. Interacts with others in the department regarding questions on responsibility summaries, capital tracking report, and other financial information. Corresponds with tax authorities, outside auditors, and others as needed to correctly account for and report financial information. Prepares and maintains files as necessary. Prepares reports as required. Reconciles bank statements. Completes special projects and basic financial analysis as necessary. III. Qualifications A.
