Your Role
As an Accounting Consultant, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and smooth month-end close processes within a complex, multinational environment. You’ll work closely with global stakeholders, support audits and compliance activities, and contribute to process improvements in a fast-evolving organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance with minimum 5 years’ experience
• Background in a multinational finance environment, ideally in life sciences or pharma
• Experience transitioning GL processes into SSC/GBS environments
• Hands-on approach and comfort with daily transactional accounting in a fast-paced setting
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA, Blackline preferred)
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
• Confident communicator with strong English; additional languages are an advantage

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post daily GL entries in SAP and take ownership of closing activities
• Record and allocate daily bank statement entries accurately
• Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts, resolving discrepancies promptly
• Support SOX compliance, internal and external audits
• Prepare and reconcile payroll entries and payments
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of accounting policies and procedures
• Drive continuous improvements in systems, processes, and business practices
• Support US GAAP and local statutory audits
• Participate in ad-hoc projects as the business grows
