About The Position

Accounting Clerk Family-owned Wendle Motors in Spokane, WA is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our administrative team. If you enjoy working with accounts payable and receivable, reconciling statements, and ensuring accuracy in financial processes, this role may be a great fit. In this position, you will be responsible for processing factory invoices, maintaining account integrity, and supporting a fast-paced environment where accuracy and accountability are essential. Qualifications: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Proficiency with Dealer Management Systems (CDK experience preferred). Working knowledge of dealership operations, vehicle inventory processes, and manufacturer incentives preferred. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Schedule & Pay: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm $22-$25 Responsibilities: Track and manage new vehicle inventory for Ford and Nissan, including incoming units and dealer trades. Enter and maintain accurate vehicle data in the Dealer Management System (DMS) from pre-invoice through full setup. Process and reconcile all manufacturer rebates and incentives, ensuring compliance with OEM guidelines. Conduct monthly rolling audits to identify missed incentive claims and ensure timely submissions. Maintain organized documentation to support all rebate and incentive claims. Coordinate dealer trades, including preparing paperwork, tracking payments, and managing MSO transfers. Record and monitor daily Retail Delivery Reports (RDRs) for new and Certified Pre-Owned vehicles. Reconcile inventory through quarterly scans and resolve discrepancies with accounting. Pull and review required manufacturer reports for Ford and Nissan. Communicate proactively with sales management regarding inventory, rebate, and operational needs.
