Navigator Recruiting client is a fast-paced, growing, international, stable $150M manufacturer and distributor in the video/broadband industry headquartered in the south Denver Metro area, in Centennial, CO. The company’s senior leadership team has been together for many years (most of them having left a large successful enterprise to start this company in 2008). The firm's culture has an informal "family-feel." There is excellent tenure amongst employees. Employees are respected and responsible self-starters. Micro-managing and meetings for the sake of having meetings do not exist here. In 18 years, this client has steadily grown from 5 employees to 35. Growth is attributed to new clients and new markets, products selling well, and further growth. Most sales are still from customers in the U.S. and Canada, however the Latin American market has been rapidly growing and Europe is up-and-coming. The lean Accounting & Finance Department is currently made up of four individuals, all with excellent tenure with the company: the CFO - a company founder w/18 years' experience at the company and focused on strategy; the Accounting Manager - w/7 years' experience at the company and focused on GL, the monthly close and reporting; the Financial Analyst - w/1 year of experience at the company (a newly created role due to growth); and the Accounting Clerk - w/16 years experience at the company and focused on invoicing, cash receipts, journal entries, AR and bank transactions. This Accounting Clerk is retiring in a couple months, after 16 years' with the company (and was employee #3 or 4 in the company!). The new Accounting Clerk would work alongside the retiring Accounting Clerk for over a month for proper training. The role will report to the CFO and is a permanent full-time salaried position (Monday - Friday in office from roughly 8:00 am - 4:00 pm) with full benefits.
