The Accounting Clerk plays a vital role in our accounting department, supporting the VP of Accounting by managing various accounting tasks with a focus on reconciliations, month-end closing processes, loan and interest activity, and general ledger maintenance. The Accounting Clerk position will assist in a wide range of duties, including various lending operations, accounts payable, researching discrepancies, reconciliations for period end close and financial activities through multiple financial systems as directed by the VP of Accounting or other members of the Accounting Team as necessary. The Accounting Clerk must be very detail-oriented and willing to pitch in where needed as this position is in a startup setting. This individual must be organized with excellent communication skills and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
