About The Position

The Accounting Clerk IV contributes to a team effort by accomplishing accounting tasks as required at the Corporate level as well as supporting the Project.

Requirements

  • Must have data entry skills and experience using current computer software applications.
  • Must be proficient in Excel.
  • Must be able to qualify for security clearance within one month.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ related experience.
  • Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, managers and staff members.

Responsibilities

  • Review invoices, vouchers, and other accounting documents, assign financial coding to invoices, credits, credit card transactions, journal entries and enter into accounting system.
  • Research information as requested by various Government entities, TFCS Corporate Accounting, Project Manager, employees, etc.
  • Check statements and follow up on any problems with payments.
  • Assist in review of weekly timesheets in Deltek Timekeeping system as needed.
  • Complete labor and material corrections for SO migrations
  • Tracking of employee tool and boot allowances
  • May be required to perform other tasks as requested by supervisor.
