The Accounting Cashier position is integral to the Accounts Payables workflow, assisting with various tasks that are essential to the department's operations. This role involves handling sensitive and confidential information, often requiring the interpretation of policies and procedures to guide its use. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing cash payments, reconciling cash boxes, balancing cash drawers, and preparing daily deposits for the bank. Additionally, the role includes preparing and recording monthly journal entries, maintaining records for Federal Form 1099-Miscellaneous Income, and processing Accounts Payable invoices and checks. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can perform various job-related duties as assigned, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational requirements.
