About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Associate to support our accounting team with daily financial operations and month-end close activities. This role is ideal for an early-career accounting professional looking to build a strong foundation in corporate accounting and gain exposure to core financial processes.

Requirements

2-3 years of accounting experience or AA Degree, including internships or entry-level roles
Basic understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting
Familiarity with financial statements and reconciliations
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas and data organization)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

Experience or exposure to accounting software or ERP systems preferred

Responsibilities

Assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including transaction processing and data entry
Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate documentation
Support month-end and year-end close processes
Perform account reconciliations, including bank and balance sheet accounts
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks
Maintain accurate and organized financial records and supporting schedules
Help prepare basic financial reports and analyses for internal use
Assist with audit requests by gathering documentation and responding to inquiries
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
Identify discrepancies and escalate issues to senior accounting staff
Support ad-hoc accounting projects as assigned
