About The Position

AGP is seeking a dynamic and talented (Senior) Accounting Associate to join our team in Omaha, NE. This position supports our soy processing plants with soybean meal quality claims and freight invoice processing. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent skills using Oracle, Excel and other Microsoft Office products
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with management, merchandisers, and co-workers.
  • Effective analytical, problem solving, planning, and organization skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous accounting and general clerical experience are preferred (required for senior level)

Responsibilities

  • Process soybean meal quality claims in accordance with NOPA standard guidelines
  • Monthly reconciliations of quality claim reporting
  • Process daily bean and meal truck freight invoices for payment
  • Daily and monthly freight reconciliations
  • Work with merchandisers to resolve discrepancies
