About The Position

As an Accounting Associate I, you will be responsible for completing a variety of administrative accounting tasks including accounts payable; reporting data analysis and entry; tracking of bonds sold/purchased; and serve as a knowledgeable backup to other accounting department team members. This is a full-time position. Usual days and hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm. Hours vary depending on business needs. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Two-plus years of accounts payable or comparable experience.
  • Two-plus years of banking experience.
  • Skilled in all Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.).
  • Proficient analytical and decision-making skills to research and resolve basic documentation issues and offer alternate solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Expert math skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of accounts payable duties, such as reviewing invoices; obtaining approvals; posting and processing checks; and scanning and indexing documents.
  • Complete timely and accurate reconcilement of various internal deposit accounts and general ledger accounts.
  • Assist in various research projects related to accounting duties.
  • Adhere to the Mabrey EXCEED Customer Service Standards.
