The Accounting Assistant’s primary responsibilities include: payroll, accounts payable/vendor payment oversight, accounts receivable, donation support, month-end, general ledger reconciliation, and other administrative duties. Under the direction of the CFO, this employee must be detail-oriented to plan and organize the Finance Office's operations and procedures to meet operational needs. The Accounting Assistant will track and meet deadlines/timelines for payroll accounting, billing, invoicing, and other financial operations. This employee will ensure compliance with safe work practices and maintain safe environments, in accordance with established agency standards, licensing regulations, and generally accepted practices.
