About The Position

The Accounting Assistant is dedicated to balancing and reconciling a growing list of customer accounts on a daily basis, requiring daily interaction with customers. This position is also responsible for assisting with tracking and paying received invoices and statements.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in accounts payable.
  • High attention to detail
  • Trustworthy with confidential information
  • Works well with others.

Nice To Haves

  • GED preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build good relationships with NAPA employees and outside vendors.
  • Posts payments to customer accounts.
  • Pay bills on time.
  • Produces weekly/monthly account receivable statements.
  • Reconciles past due statements and sends collections letters to customers.
