About the Job: The Accounting Assistant is responsible for applying the principles of accounting to prepare financial documents and reports and ensure appropriate control procedures are being utilized. Performs combination of calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain financial data for use in maintaining accounting records. Compiles and sorts documents, such as invoices and checks, substantiating business transactions. Maintains rebill/denial log; assists in monthly closing procedures and assist in analyzing cash posting.
