Requirements

  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in an equivalent or related field
  • Strong accounting or bookkeeping fundamentals
  • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (required)
  • Experience with full-cycle bookkeeping (not limited to AP or AR)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident, clear written and verbal communication skills (client-facing)
  • Tech-savvy or eager to learn new tools
  • Proactivity, clear communication, and a consistently positive attitude are mandatory for this role
  • Candidates must be able to fully overlap with EST hours.
  • This is a full-time position. Please note that we will not consider candidates planning to combine several jobs.
  • This is not project work, we consider only the candidates looking for a long-term commitment of 1.5+ years.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with tools such as Karbon, Bill.com, Uncat, and payroll platforms (Paychex, ADP, Gusto) is a strong plus
  • Experience working in small or growing companies is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Accurately code and categorize transactions in QuickBooks Online
  • Deliver weekly bookkeeping updates for 20–30 clients
  • Maintain real-time accuracy (clients frequently review books live)
  • Support month-end close using internal workflows
  • Perform self-review of financials before supervisor review
  • Work across full-cycle bookkeeping (not limited to AP/AR)
  • Communicate with clients to resolve uncategorized transactions and questions
  • Over time, assist with or present financial information to clients
