Bookkeeper Job Responsibilities: Review and record miscellaneous payments; process all deposits to the bank. Assist Accounts Receivable with member billing questions and statements. Perform all Accounts Payable duties – review and post invoices, check runs, reconcile vendor statements, research aged checks. Scan and attach documents into accounting software. Help establish/update bookkeeping policies and procedures. Assist in yearly external fiscal year end audit. Other duties or special projects as assigned. Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements: Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred. Previous bookkeeping experience. Be proficient in Microsoft Office - including Excel, Word, and Outlook; have confidence in learning new computer applications/programs. Experience with Jonas Encore or Jonas Legacy software preferred, experience with other club management systems considered. Country Club experience preferred, Property Owner’s Association experience a plus
