This position is responsible for providing business process and financial accounting support and expertise for assigned areas of responsibility. It oversees financial activities affecting the bottler's financial statements, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of month-end close processes, journal entries, and account reconciliations. Furthermore, it provides financial reporting and analysis, technical accounting guidance, and audit support to client bottlers. This role involves developing sustainable relationships with internal and external stakeholders, establishing oneself as a valued and trusted financial business partner for bottlers. The position requires interaction with a variety of external and internal stakeholders, including daily collaboration with a BPO. Support the General Accounting Center of Excellence (COE) team primarily in the area of Payroll Accounting. Execute accounting functions including: Accrued salaries, wages, vacation & sick time, Garnishments, Employee and retiree benefits, and Cash funding and wires to banks. Additionally, this role will support the areas of Fixed Assets, Cash, Equity Investments, Long Term and Short Term notes, Manual Accruals, GRIR accounting, AP and AR trade activity accounts, Miscellaneous A/R, Bad Debt Reserve accounting, Income Tax accruals, and other miscellaneous general accounting activities, as needed.
