About The Position

As an Accounting Analyst, you will play a critical role in establishing and maintaining accounting policies, fiscal controls, and financial reporting processes to safeguard the organization’s assets. You’ll serve as a subject matter expert in your area of accounting, provide guidance to department staff, and support or lead cross-functional initiatives. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys driving process improvements and ensuring compliance. This is a hybrid role, requires 3 days in office after completion of training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management (preferred).
  • 2–4 years of related accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory compliance.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to perform variance analysis and interpret KPIs.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to provide guidance to team members.
  • Experience with financial systems and auditing processes.
  • Ability to lead projects and collaborate across functions.
  • Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years

Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial statements, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliations in accordance with GAAP, IFRS, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate activities for the financial close cycle and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Analyze operating and financial data, perform variance analysis, and prepare reports for senior leadership.
  • Track and monitor KPIs, identify trends, and recommend actions to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Lead special accounting projects, including system analysis, testing and process improvements
  • Provide subject matter expertise on client and vendor contracts, accounting systems, and industry standards.
  • Support internal and external audits, recommend corrective actions, and ensure compliance.
  • Interpret and advise on contract terms and their impact on systems and outcomes
