About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Accounting Analyst - Billing to support InReach in the Financial Shared Service office in Cheektowaga, NY. This Specialist will assist with both internal and external customer invoicing. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office after the successful completion of training .

Requirements

Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
2 years’ experience in accounting
Strong technical and analytical skills
Demonstrated problem solving skills
Excellent customer service orientation

Responsibilities

Design and develop controls, processes, procedures and systems to ensure accuracy, completeness and timely delivery of the high volume of daily InReach Client invoices, including SAP Invoices as well as SEED on Delivery Invoices.
Partner closely with Finance, Accounting, Tax, Credit & Collections and Operations to resolve issues, complex disputes and contractual interpretation differences on InReach Client billing matters including those that Cross Segment.
Communicates any proposed billing changes to the Management Team and incorporates feedback/concerns into proposed system changes.
Provides customized and aggregated billing services to enhance the client experience and optimize opportunity for efficient payment.
Provides guidance to Department resources on the most complex billing issues by leveraging experience and best practice.
Provides resources to support billing-oriented issues when required.
Plans for ongoing acquisitions and integrates any new customers and billing processed into our existing InReach model.
Works with the offshore InReach Billing Team to address outstanding questions and train new processes and procedures.
