About The Position

The Accounting Analyst at NorthBay Healthcare is responsible for maintaining financial systems, producing and analyzing financial statements, and ensuring accurate reporting for various divisions and accounts. This role requires minimal supervision and involves working under tight deadlines while applying generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience (minimum 8 years as Accountant or Financial Analyst).
• 5 or more years of accounting experience.
• Experience with Oracle ERP systems preferred.
• Expert level skills in Microsoft Excel and Windows.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Nice To Haves

• CPA certification preferred.
• Experience with other concentration software such as StrataJazz, Keane, Syntellis, Epic, or Easy Cap.

Responsibilities

• Maintain financial systems and reports for NorthBay Health companies and divisions.
• Produce and analyze timely and accurate financial statements.
• Develop and maintain financial systems and reporting processes.
• Initiate procedural changes in response to external environmental changes.
• Assess the reasonableness of accounting results and make independent judgments on estimates.
