This role is part of Blue Origin corporate functions, providing centralized support across Blue Origin business unit teams, functions, and locations. The Analyst III Technical Accounting, Projects & Controls is a key member of Blue Origin’s Accounting organization and a subject matter expert across complex accounting topics, project/contract set-up, revenue recognition, and internal controls. This role is a versatile “utility player” who supports multiple areas of the accounting group, drives process improvement, and helps scale our systems and controls as the business grows. You will support the evaluation of complex and non-routine transactions, advise on technical accounting matters (including but not limited to revenue recognition), lead project and contract set-up in our systems, and strengthen our control environment. You will partner closely with Business Unit Finance, Legal, Contracts, Operations, Tax, and Program teams to support deal structuring, project launch, and ongoing performance management. We are looking for someone who combines strong technical accounting skills with an operational mindset, who is comfortable shifting between detailed analysis, project work, and hands-on execution.
