About The Position
Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Accountant position. This position is a contract hire opportunity which is expected to be on-site in the Tallahassee, FL area, for a duration of 4-6 months. The selected Accountant will be responsible for critical, time-sensitive financial processes including invoicing, payment application, collections, account reconciliation, and customer account management.
Responsibilities
- Generate and distribute customer invoices
- Post and reconcile incoming payments
- Monitor and follow-up on outstanding receivables
- Resolve billing discrepancies
- Maintain accurate customer account records
- Prepare and post journal entries
- General ledger account reconciliations
