About The Position

As an Accountant at Fastbreak, you'll play a key role in keeping our financial operations running smoothly as we scale. You'll work across accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, and close processes, with visibility into a fast-growing sports tech company at an exciting stage of growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 2+ years of related accounting experience
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Sage Intacct or a comparable multi-entity accounting system preferred
• Prior internal or external audit experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily AP/AR transactions, including AR aging and contract analysis
• Perform account reconciliations, resolving discrepancies promptly and accurately
• Maintain financial records in compliance with company policies and accounting standards
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reporting
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors or customers to resolve billing and payment inquiries
• Perform ratio and variance analysis as needed
• Track and analyze project financials for Fastbreak events
• Support payroll functions and reconciliations on an ad hoc basis
• Enter and reconcile fixed assets and prepaid expenses
• Reconcile all balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Apply revenue recognition standards under ASC 606
• Maintain ROU lease accounting journal entry schedules
