The Accountant is responsible for supporting various aspects of the financial cycle and accounting management of the company. Reporting to the Manager of Accounting and Finance, the Accountant assists in maintaining General Ledger accounts and business transactions of the organization, supports in all closing activities, payables, receivables, cash activities and other duties while assuring performance in accord with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal policies and procedures. This position is generally accountable for working alongside and supporting the Senior Accountant in provision of records, financial reports, general ledgers, analysis and preparation of budgets, billing activities such as accounts payable and receivable, production of forms, maintenance of schedules and support etc.
