Position available, 3 days a week, for mid-career finance professional. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this is a great opportunity for someone who’s willing to dig into day to day accounting and finance tasks as part of an established finance team. Must have general ledger accounting experience. The accountant performs a variety of moderately complex accounting activities related to billings and reconciliations; computes, classifies and records financial data and transactions into the accounting system. Primary functions include reconciliations, billings, accounts payable, and payroll. Position interfaces with agency staff regularly to support critical program operations and exercises independent judgment in the processing and resolution of non-routine accounting matters. Applies a working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations in the execution of all duties. Requirements include BBA in accounting. Experience with governmental grant accounting and/or nonprofit finance environment helpful. Competitive pay dependent upon qualifications and experience.
