Consolidation, Reporting, Financial Statement Analytics, IFRS 16 leasing, Guarantee & Bonds, Role Reviews are some of the main areas of this exciting opportunity.

Requirements

  • Seasoned Expertise: 2 - 3 years of experience in accounting
  • Educational Foundation: A degree in accounting
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Tools (i.e., Excel, Access etc.)
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Base knowledge of accounting principles and IFRS or USGAAP
  • Language Mastery: Fluent in English, both written and oral
  • Willing to travel, up to 10%

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency with SAP
  • Working knowledge of Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines

Responsibilities

  • Provide direction and support to the Business Units for General Accounting Month-end and Quarterly closing on various ERP systems (i.e. SAP, Oracle)
  • Build and maintain customer relations and provide support to various Business units and other departments
  • Display critical thinking under tight timelines and pressure, bring successful resolution to topics and ensure they are aligned with Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines
  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statement analytics within strict timelines
  • Consolidation & Reporting
  • Additional Financial Reporting Disclosures
  • Review of Accounting & Finance roles to ensure appropriate assignments
  • IFRS 16 review and maintenance of leases
  • Review Guarantee & Bonds applications
  • Responsible for various reconciliations and resolving accounting issues to reduce variances
  • Support for internal/external audit requirements
  • Must be able to multi-task, prioritize and work independently or as part of a team
  • Project management skills - ability to structure, control and drive projects to successful completion
