Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel & Word
• Exceptional attention to detail and organization
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

• CPA certification
• Experience in real estate or public accounting
• Familiarity with Yardi or similar ERP systems

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Support audits and tax reporting with accurate documentation
• Manage journal entries (cash, accruals, depreciation, amortization)
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations
• Partner with property managers on month-end processes
• Maintain and track development budgets & job costs
• Ensure accurate invoice coding within ERP systems
• Prepare monthly lender draws and reporting packages
• Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting
