About The Position

Book third party invoices (services, freight, utilities, others) for both Greece and Bulgaria with proper documentation; Book all intragroup invoices related to assigned services with proper documentation; Responsible for all reporting for the countries in scope and other statutory compliance (all statistics reporting to government and banks, statutory requirements not performed by other departments or other stakeholders etc.); Ensure that control procedures are accomplished. Prepare the WHT detail file for statutory purposes (including collecting documentation/certificates); Support all statutory, tax, customs and internal audits; Support month end closing and monthly reconciliation activities in coordination with internal departments; Support all strategic projects within the countries such as tax, system implementations, treasury and other ad-hoc projects; Partner with the business and finance organization to support all strategic initiatives in the countries; Drive optimization through standardization, simplification and automation of financial processes within the countries and zone, working closely with Controllership and COE teams to create and achieve the most efficient and effective organization; Support business & accounting processes improvements and transitions; Support the implementation of SAF-T, e-invoicing, e-delivery, other reporting files for Statutory purposes; Ethical standards must be maintained at all times.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Accounting or Finance
  • Fluency in Greek and English is mandatory
  • Solid background in finance/accounting within a multinational manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, US GAAP, and local GAAP legislation
  • Ability to work and deliver results autonomously
  • Self-starter with strong initiative and high learning agility
  • Strong technical skills combined with a solid understanding of business processes
  • Change management orientation and commitment to continuous improvement
  • Ability to work effectively in an inclusive team environment and adhere to company standards, processes, and policies
  • Ethical standards must be maintained at all times

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred
  • Knowledge of Bulgarian is an advantage
