About The Position

Provide essential government reporting support for US-based entities, including running and analyzing financial reports for US consolidated entities and executing US government census reporting. You will execute lease accounting processes related to the ASC 842 standard for cars and apartments, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of financial reports.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
3+ years of accounting experience
1+ years of experience with large ERP systems
Proficiency in lease accounting (ASC 842)
Experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP
Knowledge of US GAAP principles

Nice To Haves

Master's degree or CPA certification preferred
Experience in a company with $500M-$1B in revenue
Strong skills in handling large data sets
Government reporting experience

Responsibilities

Provide support for various taxable relocation processes for assignees.
Collaborate with external tax firms and payroll to ensure accurate taxable wage gross-ups for assignees and employees under relocation contracts.
Provide check deposit codes and research for appropriate application of check deposits.
Post journal entry uploads for Amex travel records, ensuring accuracy and appropriate journal entry backup.
Support month-end close procedures by posting journal entries with appropriate backup and ensuring accounts are reconciled with appropriate support in accordance with US GAAP principles.
Prepare and maintain account reconciliations, analyze general ledger monthly fluctuations and variances.
Drive stakeholder management with other financial operation team members and operational expenditure reviewers.
Drive process improvements and assist on special projects.
Comply and assist with internal and external audit requests by providing appropriate documentation and information, as requested.
