What if your accounting skills could help strengthen the financial reporting that supports Southwest Airlines’ biggest decisions? The Accountant supports the Corporate Accounting Team by applying GAAP knowledge to analyze financial data, prepare reporting documentation, and partner with Finance Leaders to ensure accuracy across key statements. They’ll own salaries, wages, and benefits accounting, manage cash clearing and reconciliations, oversee health and wellness accounting, and support several operating expense categories through monthly entries, variance analysis, and alignment with FP&A partners. Through strong analytical skills, collaboration, and attention to detail, the Accountant is excited to deliver reliable financial insights that help Southwest Airlines maintain transparent, high‑quality reporting.
