We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented Accountant to support financial operations across our diverse and exciting portfolio. This is a unique opportunity to combine strong accounting skills with a passion for sports and entertainment, including involvement with basketball, hockey, and baseball organizations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Experience working with multiple entities or projects
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills

Nice To Haves

• Prior payroll experience preferred
• Experience with sports, event, or entertainment accounting a plus

Responsibilities

• Record and categorize financial transactions using QuickBooks Online
• Prepare and file sales tax returns
• Process payroll for multiple sports and marketing entities
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements
• Support accounts payable and receivable functions
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records
• Review and analyze financial statements
• Oversee 1099 process
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and financial analysis as needed
