About The Position

Tacton is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join our high-performing Finance team, reporting directly to the VP of Finance. In this role, you’ll take ownership of key revenue and invoicing processes while gaining hands-on experience across the full accounting cycle in a global SaaS environment. Requirements

  • Proven experience in invoicing and accounts receivable, preferably in a complex or high-volume environment
  • Working knowledge of GAAP and/or IFRS, including revenue recognition principles
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, including reconciliations and month-end close processes
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze and interpret financial data
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and insights
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with a focus on meeting deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a SaaS or subscription-based business is a strong advantage
  • Familiarity with ERP systems; experience with Workday and/or Salesforce is a plus
  • Experience in FP&A, including forecasting and variance analysis, is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the end-to-end customer invoicing process
  • Interpret customer agreements to ensure accurate billing schedules and revenue recognition in accordance with GAAP/IFRS
  • Record incoming payments and perform account reconciliations
  • Collaborate closely with Revenue Operations and the Renewal Manager to ensure alignment and accuracy
  • Support day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close activities
  • Assist with financial analysis, reporting, and insights related to revenue and key performance metrics
  • Contribute to FP&A activities, including forecasting and variance analysis
