About The Position

Antenna Research Associates, Inc. is looking for an Accountant responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. This role supports the accounting team in day-to-day operations and assists with month-end and year-end closing processes.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience.
• Knowledge of general accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced accounting team with a strong attention to detail and high standards of accuracy.
• Strong time-management skills, with a track record of meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities.
• BS BA degree in accounting, finance or related field.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint or similar ERP systems strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and account reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare financial statements and reports.
• Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or variances.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
