About The Position

Responsible for various Accounting Department functions, including sales tax filings, fixed assets, and maintenance and reconciliation of various general ledger accounts.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting
One (1) year of accounting experience
Basic understanding of GAAP and other relevant accounting standards
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Ability to analyze data, identify issues, and resolve problems independently
Experience with accounting software or ERP systems
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Prepares and posts journal entries
Reconciles general ledger accounts and bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
Assists with month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting
Maintains accurate financial records and supporting documentation
Supports accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Assists in the preparation of financial reports and schedules
Ensures compliance with internal financial policies and applicable accounting standards
Supports audits and provides requested documentation
Identifies discrepancies and resolves issues in a timely manner
Collaborates with other departments to support efficient financial operations
Consistent and reliable on-site attendance
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
