Servco is looking for an Accountant to join our Accounting and Financial Services team! This role is responsible for proper accounting of automotive related transactions in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company policies for Servco Hawaii operations; preparing account reconciliations; performing period closing functions; preparation of reports, variance analysis, and supporting schedules (financial, management, statistical, tax schedules); and assisting with audits. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Minimum 1-2 years of progressive accounting work experience which included general ledger, period closing, and account reconciliation

Nice To Haves

Diversified and industry experience in retail, manufacturing and automotive and/or work experience with a big-4 national CPA firm preferred
Work experience in retail, manufacturing, and automotive preferred
Work experience in public accounting preferred

Responsibilities

Responsible for recording and reconciling Cash transactions integrated with Oracle Financial Cloud.
Support Servco’s Automotive Business Locations with matters related to inventory, inventory reserves/write-offs and cost of sales.
Assist in the inventory counts with Auto Retail and Auto Distribution locations.
Timely analyze the resulting adjustments to determine further action needed.
Collaborate with and support Servco’s business units to properly record financial & operational transactions in accordance with GAAP and company policy, and to complete period closing process within established timelines and materiality limits.
Collaborate with operational teams to manage end-to-end workflow processes to properly record transactions in an accurate and timely manner.
Evaluate issues encountered during review of transactions for internal control deficiencies and provide the appropriate feedback to the up-stream control owners.
Perform financial review and variance analysis as assigned.
Complete assigned account reconciliations with discrepancies and outstanding items resolved in an accurate and timely manner.
Assist in external and internal audits and special project reviews.
Provide support services to stakeholders as required.
