Under the direction of the Financial Accounting Manager, the incumbent is responsible for preparing financial statements, duties include, but not limited to: Essential Job Functions: Prepares journal entries to General Ledger. Prepares bank reconciliations. Prepares detailed account analysis. Analyzes fluctuations in departmental results and variances from budgets. Assists Financial Accounting Manager with maintenance of General Ledger system and reports. Assists Financial Accounting Manager with maintenance of Fixed Asset accounting system. Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned

  • Prepares journal entries to General Ledger.
  • Prepares bank reconciliations.
  • Prepares detailed account analysis.
  • Analyzes fluctuations in departmental results and variances from budgets.
  • Assists Financial Accounting Manager with maintenance of General Ledger system and reports.
  • Assists Financial Accounting Manager with maintenance of Fixed Asset accounting system.
  • Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting required as well as one (1) to three (3) years of similar accounting experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Must possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.

  • The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy.
  • May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.
  • Knowledge of hotel casino operations preferred.
