Responsibilities include general ledger (and potentially subledger) journal entry posting during the month-end close process, analysis of entity and consolidated financial data, monthly account reconciliations, ensuring compliance with corporate financial policies and internal control requirements, and assisting with special projects. - Some of What You'll Do Scope of the Role: Direct Reports: This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Assist with month-end close process, including preparing and loading journal entries into the SAP ledger system, assisting in the creating of related supporting documentation, and making necessary reclass journal entries as needed. Preparation of monthly account reconciliations, including preparing and maintaining proper support, documentation and identifying and resolving any reconciling items. Prepare schedules and provide support for external auditors during quarterly reviews and the annual audit. Provide support for Internal controls compliance and auditors. Comply with financial policies and procedures in accordance with internal control requirements. Assist in special projects as needed. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA or CPA-ready preferred. 1-2 years of applicable work experience, including a high level of achievement in Accounting coursework, and relevant internship experience or work experience. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA or CPA-ready preferred.
  • 1-2 years of applicable work experience, including a high level of achievement in Accounting coursework, and relevant internship experience or work experience.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and general accounting
  • Strong oral, written and analytical skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Ability to build professional, effective working relationships with others
  • Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion
  • Intermediate-to-advanced with MS Excel

Nice To Haves
