Job Summary The Accountant I contributes to the accuracy and efficiency of the accounting program by performing essential accounting tasks and supporting daily accounting operations.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Experience: • 0-3 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Skills: •Experience with accounting and/or reporting systems •Strong financial analysis, problem solving & communication skills •Process improvement oriented •Fundamental understanding of the accounting close process

Nice To Haves

• Experience preferred in the Energy industry, but not required

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned tasks with attention to accuracy and adherence to established procedures and controls
• Gathers, organizes, and verifies data to support reporting, analysis, and decision-making
• Assists with process enhancements by identifying potential improvements in daily activities
• Works effectively within a team to meet deadlines and deliverables while ensuring compliance with company policies
• Actively develops skills through hands-on experience and engagement in learning opportunities
